Keith Hunt was a television presenter who appeared as a guest on Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge.
Biography[]
Hunt presented The Loony Breakfast Show on Radio Leeds until the early 1990s. By 1994, he had become the host of This Is Your Life. He made an attempt to change the format by doing the show as a suprise party from the guest's home, a move which, according to Keith, was inspired by American television. When Sue Lewis appeared on the show, she was visibly uncomfortable. Melvyn Bragg described Hunt's take on This Is Your Life as "bubbish", "crass", "putrefying cack", and "drivel". Hunt said said the secret of his success was that he was "an ordinary bloke".
Personal life[]
Keith had one son, Sam Hunt, from a marriage since dissolved. Due to custody laws, he could only see Sam once a fortnight.
Personality[]
Despite being eager to surprise other people, Hunt did not like being surprised himself. When Alan Partridge brought his son onto Knowing Me, Knowing You, Keith forgot that it was his son's birthday.
