Dean Maclean was a Hollywood child filmmaker who appeared as a guest on Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge alongside his brother, Scott Maclean. He was eleven years old at the time.
Biography[]
The Maclean brothers produced, wrote, directed and starred in their own films. In 1994, they were shooting action thriller Interface in the UK - a film about "virtual reality, CD-ROM paranoia", starring Harrison Ford and Sharon Stone. Scott and Dean fired Bruce Willis three weeks into filming due to a "difference of opinion"; Scott remarked that "he thought he was cool", but "we thought he was an asshole".
